Aaaah, Glossier. The brand is known for its aesthetically pleasing pink branding, products that help you create the perfect no-makeup makeup, and being on the shelves of all your favourite influencers.
This feels a little late to the party, but I have been using Glossier for years now, and have tried a bunch of their products, but these are that have become staples in my collection. I would buy them time and time again, and I would recommend them to my friends, and what are we, but friends?
Here are five of the best Glossier products I have tried
I’d been looking for a light but buildable concealer for ages. I only got this last year, because I don’t believe in buying base makeup online, as I am crap at knowing my shade. But as my plans to visit the London popup failed, I decided to go for it and sacrifice the £20. Now I love this stuff.
It is lightweight, doesn’t make my skin look like it’s got a tonne of product on, but lightly conceals what needs to be hidden and generally lightens up the face. It’s dewy, doesn’t make your skin look cakey at all, and looks natural. Everything I look for in a concealer.
The one thing in my beauty cupboard that can make me look alive even if I feel shitty. It’s an “oil-serum hybrid” and gives the skin the glossy, dewy look I LOVE. It’s not shimmery or heavy and feels silky smooth on the skin.
You can either use it all over your face for a super dewy look or pop it on your cheekbones as a highlighter. It reflects the light beautifully, which completely illuminates the face and makes you look like you have facials on the reg. I usually put it all over my face before I add my daily SPF and then if I feel a little extra, pat a bit more on my cheekbones.
Seriously, if you buy only one thing from Glossier, this should be it.
This was the first Glossier product I tried back in 2017, and I’ve gone through so many of them now, so it had to go on this list.
I’ve tried the clear and the brown one, and I still can’t decide which one I prefer. The clear one has been the one I’ve preferred over the past year, with being at home and not feeling like I want anything else than brows that are not super messy, but the coloured ones are a good option if you’re looking for a bit of quick filling action. Now, don’t expect the gel to cement your brows in place, as it’s gentle like all of Glossier’s products, but does a good job of keeping them in place and not looking like you’ve glued them.
Another product I’ve repurchased multiple times.
My current favourite is the coconut one, as it reminds me of summer and makes me feel like I’m on holiday (while I’m bored in the house and in the house bored). So it smells delicious, makes my lips nice and I like to put it anywhere else that feels dry.
If you’re after a little bit of colour, the cherry one is wonderful. It has a very sheer red tint, so it’s the perfect one if you want a tiny bit of colour on your lips.
Next, I have the Mango one to try and I am excited, it should smell FAB!
I love mascara. And I love a dramatic eyelash situation, but I’ve learned there’s a time and place for this. I got this one in hopes it will become my go-to everyday mascara, and it sure does deliver! Lash slick gives the lashes the length and oomph I’m after without being too over the top, which makes it the perfect daytime mascara.
Plus, it doesn’t smudge, which is what we’re all after.
This isn’t to say these five are the only Glossier products I like. I think I have liked most of the ones I have tried, but these are the ones I swear by and recommend to anyone who asks. And, these Glossier products are the ones I would use if I only had 5 mins to get ready, and I know I’d feel fabulous.
