Three Products I Loved in June

So far, so good with my series of monthly favourites. If you want to have a little nosey at my beauty pics from May, go ahead and read the post. If you’re all caught up, let’s jump into the three skincare products I loved in June!

This month’s picks are truly great and have worked so well on my skin. All three are ones I’ve incorporated in my evening skincare routine and can say I’m quite happy with how they found their space in my life.  Summer skincare products

First up is the Herbivore Aftersun mist. I actually bought it at the end of last summer, before Simon and I went on our Greek adventure, and didn’t feel the need to use it again until this summer. But with a few very hot days and my desperate need for summer, which lead to long evenings in the sun, this has been a trusty little helper. It’s a soothing aloe, mint and lavender mist, which feels like heaven on sun-soaked skin. Of course, I don’t expose my face to the sun, and if I do, I have a ton of SPF on, so I don’t get irritations, however, this just feels so refreshing and energising after a few hours on the balcony.

Another thing I like about the mist is that it’s cruelty and synthetics-free, and comes in a glass bottle, which makes it reusable and recyclable.

Tip: put it in the fridge for a few hours before use, it will feel even better when you spray it on your sun-kissed skin!

Herbivore Aftersun mist & Fushi BioVedic Radiance Face oil

Next up on the list, the Alpha-H Micro Cleanse Super Scrub*. I have to say, I’m quickly becoming a huge fan of this brand. I got a few products, including this one, sent to try and I’m so pleased with everything I’ve used so far.

The scrub is very gentle, which I love. I don’t like harsh scrubs that strip my skin and make my face feel very dry after washing it, and this does nothing of the sorts!

Alpha-H Super Scrub

The Super Scrub is a mix of 12% glycolic acid and jojoba wax beads (biodegradable!) so it does the job of a chemical and a physical exfoliator in one! As I mentioned, it does this very gently and makes my skin feeling smooth and soft, and this, my friends, is what I want from a scrub.

And last, but not least is the Fushi Radiance Face Oil*, which I’ve been using to massage my face most evenings and some mornings for the past month and a half. I used to be a little afraid of using face oils but now I am a complete convert! The BioVedic Radiance Face oil is a really lightweight, nourishing blend of five oils.

I love that it does not leave my skin feeling greasy after using it, but instead, it helps lock in the moisture from my entire routine into the skin. I use a few drops to massage my face and neck to promote youthful, radiant and happy skin. Honestly, incorporating a 5 minutes face massage a day into your skincare routine will give you gorgeous, nourished skin.

And this is it for my June favourites. I love trying new products, and even more than that, I love finding ones that work perfectly for me. I hope these monthly pics help you find something that you’ll love too. Let me know if you’ve tried any of these products 🙂
