This is for you cause you’re nosy and for me, for the days I don’t feel as good. My plan is to read this post and remember the little things that make me feel good. Here are ten things that make me happy.
I hope this post brightens up your day 🙂 And please tell me what are the things that make you happy!
1. The sunshine
Whenever the sun comes out, my mood instantly elevates, and I also become a little more productive.
2. A very good cup of tea
You know the one. The perfect cup of tea, which has the right amount of milk, the ideal amount of sugar and is just yum.
3. Singing at the top of my voice when I get home after being to the gym.
I have these amazing noise-cancelling earphones, so I keep them in when I get back, and usually have a fun playlist on, so I have a little dance party in my room. To my neighbours: I hope you enjoy my singing.
I love spring, and blossoms are my favourite sign of it!
5. My toastie maker
Simon gave me a triangle toastie maker, and I can honestly say this was the best present he could have given me! Needless to say, I’ve had the cheesiest cheesy toasties almost every day that I’ve been home for the past few weeks.
6. Speaking to my best friend on the phone
It’s been difficult having a chat, because well, life gets in the way, but we managed an hour a couple of weekends ago, which was the best! Having one of those long conversations makes me feel like I’m a teenager again, spending hours chatting with my friends on the phone. I’d get in trouble for staying up late and talking on the phone. Oh, the good old days, when texts were a luxury…
7. Facemask time with Simon
I love that he got into skincare and that we get to share facemask time. It’s actually him that often reminds me of the fact that we should put some on.
8. Finding a really good podcast and binging it
I have become obsessed with them, and soon I’ll give you a list of my fave ones. Just need to listen to some more!
9. Clean sheets
Getting into fresh sheets is the best feeling ever!
10. The amazing feedback I’ve been getting from YOU!
Some of you have loved my first newsletter, some have learned something new from the blog, and it makes me so happy when you share this with me. I do all this because I love it, but also because I want to be useful to you. So if you’ve enjoyed anything that you’ve read here, seen on Instagram or watched on YouTube, or just want to say hi, please please do!
This is it for me, now I’m going to spend the rest weekend looking after a big fluff ball with Simon, charging the happy batteries.
Tell me what made you happy this week!
