Today, I was supposed to work on this very long article I have to write for uni. It is on an interesting topic, and I believe it will be an interesting read. But I am nowhere near starting it, let alone finishing it or it being read by anyone…
Can we just take a moment and appreciate the last few days, when it was spring in London? Like, how beautiful was it?! It’s of course all gone now. Even though I have not left the flat today, my friend told me it was cold. And I see no sun from my window. Oh well, it was nice to see you for like three days, spring. Maybe see you soon again?
Oh, well I will, next week. *Bragging time* I will be in Italy next weekend, where it’s supposedly sunny and warm. Oh, and the pasta tastes like heaven! I was supposed to eat clean until my holiday, so that I can go all out while in Italy. Let me tell you, this did not happen. I am still going to eat all the pasta and gelato though. *Puts beach body on hold(again)*. Lazy Kristina…
So, the article. It is a 2,500 word long piece. I chose the topic, it was discussed by everyone in class, including my tutor. He thinks it will be a good one. So do I. When I write it. When will I write it?
I find that whenever it’s deadline time, I discover that I have never seen all the episodes of an iconic TV show. Last year, Friends was what helped me (and distracted me A LOT) get through my dissertation. This year, it’s Sex and the City.
This is confusing, isn’t it. I know. This is how my brain’s been all day. Jumping from one thing to the other, and I just can’t make myself to sit down and do my assignment. At least I managed to make myself sit down and write this.
So why am I writing this? Because I feel like there’s a lot of people out there, who as as bad with focusing on work as I am, and I want to say… Hey, it’s OK! We all have bad days, when we just can’t focus and be productive. But then, the next morning we wake up, relaxed and with a fresh mind – ready to do our best. Don’t be guilty if you have a lazy day. Just don’t make every day a lazy one 🙂
Now, the outfit. It’s the one from my last day at LFW. But I loved it so much, I decided it deserved its own post. So here it is!
