Fifty Shades of.. What?

I feel like the whole world is talking about this one movie, that’s coming out at the end next week. This one movie that I had said I’d never watch, the one that follows the books I haven’t read and don’t want to read.

Yes, it is ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’. I’m just not into porn, whether it is in the form of a book or a video. Sorry, not my thing. But the only way not to be bombarded with ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’…. everything, is to stay away from the Internet. And I obviously can’t do this. So my Facebook feed is full of posts like “New song from Fifty Shades of Grey” “New clip from the movie released”, “Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson’s awkward moments” and many other similar posts, with very important information.

So I listened to the songs. Read the articles. I watched the clips. And I finally gave up. I want to see the movie. Quite a lot, actually. As soon as it comes out. Why do I want to watch it? Why have I already made plans with my friend to go and see it next Friday? I have no other answer to these questions than the fact that the movie is so hyped that it makes me want to be a part of the whole thing (not the story, just to be clear.) And I also kind of fell in love with the soundtrack.

So yes, I am going to watch it and I really hope it’s good. Because otherwise, I will not only have wasted about £15 but also I’d be very ashamed I was excited to see it. In the cinema. Which is going to be interesting. Very.

Have a lovely rest of the weekend.

Hey, lemme finish that for ya. Fifty Shades of Complete and Utter Crap. lol
I hate it so much!! I am a lover of literature and I started reading the book, and I couldn’t finish it, it was that atrocious! Even though I finish almost every book I start reading (well, almost now, because I didn’t read this piece of crap.)

But because of all the ads, and my inability to stay away from the Internet, it makes me want to be part of this experience too. Not the story with the bloody tampons and fucking glorified abuse though. (A bit passionate about this topic sorry) So I’ll try to resist as hard as I can and NOT watch the movie. Sorry, got a bit carried away. But at least now you have one more comment on your blog and more traffic haha (I’m a bad bad person)

I know the feeling! I’m very on the fence about the whole thing, as much as I’ve avoided the craze I’m quite curious about it. The actor in it is very cute as well!
