I feel like the whole world is talking about this one movie, that’s coming out at the end next week. This one movie that I had said I’d never watch, the one that follows the books I haven’t read and don’t want to read.
Yes, it is ‘Fifty shades of Grey’. I’m just not into porn, weather it is in the form of a book, or a video. Sorry, not my thing. But the only way not to be bombarded with ‘Fifty shades of Grey’…. everything, is to stay away from the Internet. And I obviously can’t do this. So my Facebook feed is full of posts like “New song from Fifty shades of Grey” “New clip from the movie released”, “Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson’s awkward moments” and many other similar posts, with very important information.
So I listened to the songs. Read the articles. I watched the clips. And I finally gave up. I want to see the movie. Quite a lot, actually. As soon as it comes out. Why do I want to watch it? Why have I already made plans with my friend to go and see it next Friday? I have no other answer to these questions, than the fact that the movie is so hyped that it makes me want to be a part of the whole thing (not the story, just to be clear.) And I also kind of fell in love with the soundtrack.
So yes, I am going to watch it and I really hope it’s good. Because otherwise I will not only have wasted about £15, but also I’d be very ashamed I was excited to see it. In the cinema. Which is going to be interesting. Very.
Have a lovely rest of the weekend.
